Success Stories

Discover how NAICA’s culturally responsive Neighborhood Safety Council advocacy transforms challenges into victories.

Building Trust One Conversation at a Time

This summer, NAICA brought vital resources directly to families at five National Night Out celebrations citywide, creating natural meeting grounds where neighbors could connect with officers outside of crisis situations.

In the 44th Precinct, parents signed up for safety workshops while their children colored at our resource table, and community members discovered support services they didn’t know existed. These face-to-face interactions are planting seeds for year-round partnerships, as residents who once avoided police presence now stop to chat with the same officers they met over summer activities.
