April 2026
Dear Partner,
We are honored to invite you to join the Neighborhood Association for Inter Cultural Affairs, Inc. (NAICA) as we celebrate our 52nd Anniversary Annual Benefit Gala on Thursday, October 1, 2026, at Marina del Rey in the Bronx.
This year’s theme, A Legacy of Service, A Future of Hope, draws from the spirit of Día de los Muertos, a time to honor those who came before us and to carry their stories forward with care. We honor the lives that shaped our communities not only in reflection, but through the way we continue to show up each day.
For more than five decades, NAICA has served as a lifeline for thousands of New Yorkers, offering stability, advocacy, and housing solutions to individuals and families in crisis. Our work spans transitional and supportive housing, legal and immigration services, and homelessness prevention, while creating spaces of safety and belonging through LGBTQIA youth services, public safety partnerships, and youth sports programs that nurture
confidence and connection.
Last year’s record setting gala made it possible for us to deepen that commitment in meaningful ways. Because of that support, we have been able to expand programs, strengthen services, and respond more thoughtfully to the needs we see every day across our communities. That momentum continues to shape what is possible for the year ahead.
As we mark 52 years of impact, we are also looking forward with intention. This moment calls us to do more than reflect. It asks us to build, to invest, and to imagine a future where stability and opportunity are not out of reach, but part of everyday life for the people we serve. That future is only possible through partnership with those who share a belief in equity, safety, and the power of community.
It is in that spirit that we invite you to stand with us once again. Funds raised through this year’s gala will directly support NAICA’s programs and allow us to continue growing with care and purpose.
We hope you will join us as we honor the past, celebrate the strength of our community, and move forward together
toward what is possible.
Thank you for considering our request, and we eagerly anticipate the possibility of your valuable support.
Sincerely yours,
Elvira Barone
